New to the forum and eager to meet other collectors of Rudy's early Bowie's. My main interest is the early 40's-60's pieces and I've been growing a collection for several years. There's something about Rudy's early Bowie's that keep me looking for more! Cheers, Craig

I wish you mucho luck. Having met Rudy, many years ago and having some of his early knives, the knife community looked down on Rudy as a crude knife maker. Now, of course, the table has turned, and his custom work is considered American folk art to the extreme. That's especially true for Rudy's custom Bowie knives, complete with his vibrator made signature. I wish you well in your venture and hope you have some deep pockets.

Hello
I have a number of quality early R.H. Ruana bowies and other early R.H. Ruana knives, R.H. Ruana daggers, R.H. Ruana brassies, etc. Let's talk.
I just acquired the earliest known R.H. Ruana model 40A. It is amazing.
