I do not watch Yellowstone, nor did I watch Deadwood because of the vulgarity and other situations, but apparently Ruana Knife Works was contacted to provide some props for the show. They are now producing these same kitchen knives. Check it out.

Same reaction to the two shows, but thanks for the link to the description and that led to a link to the order page.
I am wrestling with the decision now - do I need another high-end kitchen knife?
Maybe so!

Stand by..... there is likely to be a Randall connection. Not going to say much more, but Rip has a Randall now.

A while back I posted the question whether RMK made knives for movies.

The reason was that Rip on Yellowstone used a knife that "could" have been a Randall in the scene where they reclaimed something that John wanted back from a former hand who had somehow betrayed him in the past.

I've got 'em all recorded. I'll have to go back and re-watch that episode. I know exactly which one you mean.
Best, Capt. Chris

Pap:

I got some girls in class this year that would make Beth Dutton blush.

I re-watched the episode where Rip's knife was used. Very difficult to make out exactly what knife it was, but it "appears" to have a butt cap that is embellished and a similar RMK grind but I don't think it is???
More questions than answers.
