Here are photos of three model 1’s with teeth.

Stag is oldest, circa 65-68.
Micarta is circa 1970-72
Ivorite circa 1978-80

Stag has medium teeth and a 2” run, 9 teeth/inch
Black has large teeth (for a model 1) and 3” run with 23 teeth, 7.6 teeth/inch
Ivorite has small teeth and a 3 1/2” run with 46 teeth, 13.14 teeth/inch

Note all handles have finger grips. Also note stag and black have small butts, conducive to a much more comfortable grip.

Also note the variations of the blade grinds.

The real kicker is the black one also has thumb notches, and yes they are shop done. If not the first, this is the second I have ever seen.

that's a lot of thump notches on that #1....makes me think of my #11....looks like the only thing that stopped them was the saw teeth...

I like the bottom Ivorite example with tear drop FG handle and fine teeth

This one has 8 inch blade, large teeth, 2.75 inch run, 21 teeth, for 7.6 teeth/inch. That and the blade grind match up very nicely with your black micarta example.
