This is one I came across when I was organizing my safes, I had forgotten all about it, also found a couple more that I had forgotten. My short term memory is awful.

Sidney,

The 1911 and the S&W 41 are awesome.

Fun when you clean things and you find all kinds of things you tucked away for way too long. Winter is a good time for catching up.

Sidney,
Years ago, during our local National Match Courses,it was the Model 41 or the High Standard Trophy Models that pretty much ruled on the firing line.

The S&W Model 41 always had been superbly made with no machine marks what so ever. I had never seen one that gave any problems.

Sidney, sorry the Kimber trigger is bad.

I have been carrying a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry for over 15 years. The trigger is excellent. The only mods I've made are Kimber tritium sights and the Laser-Grips.

Rocky when I was 41 my memory was great. Now pushing 75, not so great. Some of these things I haven't seen in 12 to 16 years. Lots of fun. Found two Pythons I had forgotten, and much more.

Rocky,
Nice "standard" auto!!

One of my Ruger Standard autos,I sent to Jim Clark to be accurized. One of the additions was a Douglas Barrel with an integral muzzle brake.

1/2 inch groups from a machine rest at 50 yards.

Wayne, I believe that one is a shooter for sure. I really like Ruger .22s.
