I always thought Randall Kit knives were of the smaller knives. This one on eBay, today, surprised me. The spacers, especially, threw me. Is it real?

They did make model 12 kit knives, here's a Smithy kit I had a few years back, sold it.

Although the handle appears to be well made I was thinking this would be a great Behring rehandle. A tad pricey for that, though.

A LOT pricey! LOL
That sheath is stamped for a 12 11C
That knife doesn't have a curved hilt.

Chief, The sheath throat is not cut for a forward hilt. Maybe the C is for the strap being left to right? Just guessing.

Chief,
The 1st knife (Kit & Leather) in this post is a Confederate & has a Confederate Bowie sheath.
Best, Capt. Chris

"C", in this case, would indicate "C"onfederate. otherwise a Smith and a Confederate would both be stamped the same.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

The price is going down. As I would only consider it for a rehandle, I am not sure how low it must go for me to buy, yet...
