For Brian's benefit (& anyone else who is interested) I offer the following:
* #15's come "standard" with "no spacers"
* #15's come configured and forged for a full, exposed tang
* Windsor & Holzinger's examples are "non-standard"
* Both of their examples are "CDT" (cut down tang) variants
Below our the fresh-shot pics of the #15 that I weighed in at 12 ounces. A "CDT" version (which has spacers) would weigh "less" as we are losing that thick (1/4") blade stock, which normally runs for-to-aft!
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris
PS: My example also has options of:
* BCP (Bowie Clip point)
* Stainless
* TN (Thumb Notches)
* Nickel silver single hilt
* BPH (Border Patrol Handle)

Brian
Don’t over look the Model 16 Special fighter
You get all that with a model 1 blade and can get single hilt
Could be a little bigger though

Thanks for the suggestion Sharpi, but I will stick with the 15 for this order.

Captain Chris, I love that 15, and might have one soon, yes?

Nice adventure rig Mic. I carry a 3 inch Lew Horton S&W 624 in a Diamond D guide Holster. The LH 624 has a K Frame Grip on a N Frame, chambered in .44 Special.

Rob Frey your knife is what started this process for me, I was all set on a #5 then I saw yours.
