I took the lovely Elizabeth to a Dr. appt. this morning. Every single, solitary person went in with a mask on...and every single one opened the door to go in...and re-opened it on their way out with their bare hands! I think hanging around "anything" medically-related or the friggin' grocery store is the equivalent of hangin' around a snot factory.
I hope you both get over this quickly Steve.
Best, Capt. Chris

Per Capt. Chris's post...

Originally we were told just to maintain distance and wash hands. Still important to do both.

It took them too long to actually tell us that breathing it in or getting it in the eyes through airborne is an easy way to catch it...and to wear masks. A little protection is better than none.

People are leaving mail and packages in hot garages or in the sunlight for 2 or 3 days to kill the virus before they bring things into the house.

We and others wipe down all items brought from the store or elsewhere before brining them into the house.

And medical offices I have been to have "some" procedures in place, some not as preventative as others.

Sorry to say, but even taking as many precautions as possible we can still catch it. I hope nobody else on here, but will not be surprised if certain family and friends we know get sick because of their own behavior or their need to work where not all precautions might be taken.

Randall folks added for new prayers that continue for other folks, as the “prayer list” continues to grow. This pandemic is making following our Lord’s commandment to “pray without ceasing” easier to follow. My own prayers include, of course, the many times daily prayers are said for so many people to decrease their stupidity and increase their common sense and kindness toward others; and to increase their ability to tell the difference between the “big problems” and the “doesn’t even make the problem list.”
To watch as so many get caught up in incredibly big disagreements re: whether or not to wear a mask when so many folks are unemployed, watching their savings go to zero as they worry re: being able to provide food and shelter, becoming incredibly ill &/or dying, etc. etc. is truly stretching sane folks’ tolerance to the limits.
Please.....just wear the damn mask. And pray.

So sorry to hear this. Prayers and well wishes to Scott and all of the men and women working in the shop, and to the Randall family.
