A Provenanced Model 15 Airman
with a Great Story / Canteen Snap
Splitback Sheath / RMK Carry Case

Summary: this is a Randall #15 with green tenite handle and canteen snap riveted splitback sheath. I originally purchased this from Nick Moore, a local here in the Bay Area who was given the knife by his father. Nick sent it in to RMK (see Nick’s letter and all correspondence), in the end the shop cleaned up the blade and guard.

Photos tell the story and if that’s not enough the letter from Nick further tells the story. It’s not the prettiest knife / sheath in the world but it certainly has quite a bit of personality and history. Actually and in it’s own way... it’s one of the coolest knives I’ve seen in a long, long time.
