The area that I will hunt next spring has 7 roosts on it. He said he and his friend that had hunted turkeys before, set up in a couple of places. Made some hen calls without success. About 2pm they were walking back to the truck and cam to an old clear cut, and saw this gobbler about 100 yards away. They hid behind a bush, started calling, and he came within 20 yards when he blasted it. Go figure.
