Boy, you all living in Virginia ought to be pretty worried about this law. If your neighbor doesn't like you, they can make false claims and the law can come take all your guns.

If I wasn't so old I would move out of Va. to get away from these idiots. The Red Flag law is so wrong in so many different ways. Someone could envy you because you have a better car than them and report you and you have no right to confront them. That is just wrong!! I am afraid our great country is going to hell fast God help us if they ever take the White House.

Sidney.
Agree with you. It's America now.Not the United States of America.
Seems to me the Pledge of Allegiance we use to say in school every
morning has no meaning at all now.

Haven't looked at the voting across VA by county, but might consider a referendum among the westerly counties to withdraw and form their own state. West Virginia did that way back when. Counties outside the DC span of influence to the east could retain the name "Virginia" and counties from the central and western regions could become "Central Virginia."

That would provide for the 51st state, with it own representatives going to Congress and having its own Presidential Electors every four years.

I could support that! If we could get rid of
Tim Kaine and Mark Warner that would go a long way in helping to repair the damage that has been done here! They have gotten even more crazy as they are trying now to pass laws against the 1st. Amn. I don't know where this is going to end. We need some serious change in our elected officials that will have to for another election and who knows how much damage they can do before then!!

This crap in VA stinks to high heaven. It's not the will of the majority and the wind is still blowing on much of this.
The Virginia Citizens Defense League is at the forefront of fighting for our 2A rights. We had a good showing in Richmond last month. If the dems keep pushing like this, we might just take our state back in the next elections. If we don't, it could get real bad.
It doesn't get talked about much, but further gerrymandering helped the dems take the state.
I hate the idea of breaking the state up; rather just toss out the mindless riff-raff. Would that we could.

Pap and Sidney,

You are both right, we have a lot to be concerned about. When billionaires like Bloomberg and Soros are behind the scenes trying to disarm us and turn the country to Socialism we can only thank God we have President Trump. The local elections are where it is at; too many people have tuned out politics and have become apathetic. We were working too hard and had our heads down while they destroyed us from the inside. Unsustainable pensions and spending. Need to get control of the House.

Vote vote vote!

Since money matters, maybe Bloomberg gets the nomination.

And when there is a debate, maybe somebody will ask him:

1. Do you own any guns?
2. Have you ever trained with or shot a gun?
3. Do you have, or have you ever had, a New York City concealed carry permit?
4. Have you ever carried a gun for self defense?
5. Do you hire armed protection for yourself or your family?

There is a lot elitism and self-righteousness on the part of a lot of public figures.
