I love this knife but my paws are too big for the handle..Not anymore! I came through the thong hole and used the double paracord side to tie the thong to the single side. It works out really well because the loop of the one side is what you use to tighten and un tighten. No more confusion for me!

Do you find the grip better knots down?
I would like to try that on a BPH.

Thanks everyone, I simply found an youtube to teach me, 30 minutes later I had three knives done. The first one I unraveled and did it again. I utilized about 15 feet of cord for each knife. If you need that for something while out there youll be glad you had it! By simply undoing the end knot the whole shebang comes off in 10 seconds..There is some neat cord out there..firestarter ect...Chief, the knots down give me a more tactile feeling at my fingers...my palm does not care about nor does it have any tactile feeling, so, yes I like the knots down. I tried it both ways..knots on top raise my hand off the knife too much
