Is the RKS5 a mini model 28 or just like the old drop point hunter that was made a while back? Any one have a picture of all 3? THANKS

Rhett actually had his choice of the mini, which he chose...or the "Woodsman", Model #28. "I" think he chose the wrong one, personally. The Model #28 is as good as it gets for overall appearance and function...and loaded with standard features,,,BUT,,,it's all history now.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Capt. Chris--

Thinking that maybe Rhett chose the Mini because the RKS had never done a Mini of any sort, and the shop at the time probably did not envision making any more miniature models. That would make the RKS Mini somewhat more collectible.

Having both versions, a collector who bought the Mini from Rhett might like to have the Model 28 numbered like their Mini....

Come to think about it, as a user, the Mini would be similar to the Triatheletes that are sometimes customized by adding handles and guards.

The Model #28, Woodsman, would have been as close to a Griffon (Nowadays a "drop point" hunter) hunter as there was and been more collectible..."I" believe. You mileage may vary!
