The picture says it all.

On the bright side, we are having the perfect year for MUSCADINES.

The wet Spring made 'em put out a lot of fruit and this heat is "cooking" them up some kind of sugary sweet!

Get ready for some Ol' Coondawg 2019

Coach,

Guess you'll have to excuse my northern self, but what are MUSCADINES? They don't grow or show here as far as I can see.
Edit: So they are grapes per Google.
"BUT" not here. Look great however.

Warren:

Pappy is correct.

Look at: www.isons.com

Everything you ever want to know about muscadines and another one of my long range driving destinations every January to pick up plants.

Oh gosh!!!
there is someone that has not had the enjoyment of MUSCADINES!!!
that's a shame...they are, along with scuppernogs(which is only a variation of the muscadine)...the BEST!!!

Try some, you will love them!!

Rocky:

A good friend of mine who is a retired Chemical Engineer and Chemistry Teacher wants to make a batch of Scuppernog Brandy from my bronze grapes. Thinking about it.

No breeze. High humidity.

It is hot in the shade!

OMG, I can't take that much heat for weeks on end. Got to 79 here today. Seeing 70 something for days ahead.

Hard to imagine that I spent 5 years in North Louisiana at Louisiana Tech in the mid 1960's without AC in my rooming house and my 65 Land Rover. Sure couldn't handle it now.
