Ok, so how about another Southern diet special, Pimento Cheese Spread!! I have a new recipe.

1 8oz package softened cream cheese
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mayo (Helmans or Best Foods)
1 small jar pimentos
1 small can chopped green chilies or jalapenos
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/8 teaspoon powdered onion

Mix well and chill for 1 hour, if you can wait. Try on a Ritz cracker or fresh bread.

One of my favorite dinners, artichokes and Cowboy Rib Eye steak, with rosemary and my own grown jalapeno.
