Didn't even notice the no hooks. I was too focused on the green canvas micarta 22 style handles. Who woulda thunk you liked micarta anyway?

My Uncle Lewis Ham, Silver Star, Sgt Army WW II, was a great salt water fisherman. His go to lure was a Miro Lure, only he drilled a hole in the nose, replaced the eye, on a mid depth lure. He always caught fish and even used it on large mouth bass. He jerked it and it would stay at 2-3 feet depth. When he jerked it, it would stop and generally get a strike.
