Just an additional note.
There is no preview of the attached pictures, so you do have to submit the posting to see the pictures.
Good luck!

Added pics it looks like I should have dusted off sheath , it is in good condition. Any haze on the knife is from being oiled.

Al, if you’re using a smartphone to take your photos, there is a free photography editing app called, “Snapseed” from Google. Just go to your App Store and download for free.

The App has about fifty different editing options, including, “Rotate Image” and cropping size.

Knife photos attract more attention if photographed at a diagonal than horizontal.

This Sportsman’s Bowie was sold last year.

Hope this helps,

Buck Buchanan

Man, Just so you know... if I was in buying mode, I'd jump all over your knife. But I'm currently swinging the other way.

Patience? And better pics? As Buck describes above. For sales you want revealing shots, but there's nothing wrong with giving them some glamour. As Buck advises, profile shot (from slight downward angle from front). If you don't have a light setup, indirect sunlight is best - night/ day difference. And wipe blade clean - and sheath. (I'm still on a learning curve with my smartphone camera, so I feel for you).

The guys who know what your knife really looks like up close just aren't, at this very moment, interested in that model, for whatever reason. Those on the fence, or newer to Randall might pull the trigger with a nicely photographed knife.

And for this lot, esp. (but generally too), it couldn't hurt to show the marked butcher paper and box, the works.

There is likely, as I write this, someone, somewhere, getting ready to order this very knife from Randall and paying MORE and waiting 6 years to get it.

Just my two cents.

Gary

Gary,
I feel your pain!!!
I've listed several knives here, with no interest at all...nothing.....not a peep....one of which I put on eBay, and sold for way more than double what I was asking here....I don't sometimes understand...guess it's just a smaller crowd here
