I have a Model 5-6 that came wrapped in white butcher paper. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the writing meant that's on the paper. Here's what's hadwritten on the paper:
"5-6SSnssquR/b BDH" Not sure about the slash; could be an "i" or a skinny "o".
The knife itself is a Model 5-6, stacked leather border patrol handle, stainless steel 6" blade, aluminum butt cap and hilt that's squared off on the top. It also has red, white and blue spacers. The aluminum butt cap looks like it could be rounded since it doesn't appear to have the sharp edege the Randall catalog shows.
Thanks in advance.

Have I noticed that when deciphering the enigmas Scott teases us with, it starts with the blade, and works it's way to the butt, and finally the sheath? Is that the standard method?

If that's a BBQ order, that's worse than some people ordering coffee at StarBucks.
