Kovey's Knives of China
"Made in the USA"

with the Capt. sitting below the sign.

I am still chuckling about the irony of all the messages.

Chief, I'm hoping to see your knives in a display one day. I'm thinking it will have to be in a big display case.

Need a younger man like Wally to haul them around!
I can't remember his full name, his first was David, he had a Bear Bowie collection that ate up 6 or more tables.
Would be cool if anyone had a picture of it. That was a huge pile of big knives!

Chief, aren't you hoot! Wally will be 56 this year, and he already has a bad back. If he hauls your knives around , that will pretty much do him in!!! I recommend 2 25's.

Still younger than me, I'll be 57 end of June!
25's! NOT nothing like "big iron" to make a man strut!

That was David Lee, good friend of Rick Ward's.
He was fighting cancer the first years I attended Blade Show and I truly admired his collection. The last word I heard was that the family decided to keep the collection after his death.
David ordered every configuration and handle material of Bear Bowie.
