I see the ads are from a magazine--Hunter, Trader, Trapper.

A friend long gone was the son of its editor.

Someplace I have a stickpin he gave me of a bird dog with a shotgun that the magazine gave to people who subscribed, and I think he said this was somehow related to their giving away Remington pocket knives.

There are fewer and fewer people around who remember those things.

Yes Larry you are correct. I bought these years ago as a package deal. I totally forgot about them until yesterday. Post a picture of that pin if you get a chance.
