Taxes $318 LOL, less than a dollar an acre? How can that be?

Taxes on timber lands are based on 2 principles, the landowner has the choice of paying by the site index(good, medium or poor), and you don't pay a severance tax when the timber is cut. Or, you pay bare land value, around $1/acre or less, and pay a severance tax when the timber is harvested. In this case, the timber will never be harvested and sold, so a good deal.

Wish I could use that argument here Pap, but not happening.
Great deal for someone. That's alot of land for the money.

It just got listed and doubt it will last long. In 50 years of living in Idaho, I've never seen this many private acres basically in a Wilderness area, for sale. I'm surprised that the Forest Service hasn't tried to buy or exchange lands for this property. Many similar type landowners have swapped properties for better development.

Pap,

Well if the dog didn't eat the winner MEGA ticket I'd go.
You think they would take the dog? He'll produce that winner someday???

Give them the dog's poop and make them prove it isn't the winning ticket. Lol.
