What an honor to have simply met the man, let alone been so fortunate to work with and see our knives in his store. There is a hole in the knife industry indeed, but here's to the pathway he paved and the inspiration he passed along to so many.

RIP A.G.

We stopped at his store in Rogers on our way back from fishing in Canada a few years back. It was a Saturday and they were busy.

He was there talking to a gentleman but noticed that nobody had waited on me. He told the man "excuse me" and got behind the counter to show me a very nice Model 19-5.

I didn't buy, but he acted like I had just spent $10,000. He introduced himself, asked where I was from, where I'd been, shook my hand and told me to be sure and come back.

I'll never forget it.

I knew the name "AG Russell" before I knew the name Randall.

Devastating news.

Anytime I had dealt with AG Russel or his company had always been a genuine pleasure.

About 20 years ago,at BLADE,I had the pleasure meeting A G Russell and Bill Moran at the same time.

That was,indeed,a real treat.
