Hopefully this isn't a one knife thread. I'm banking on some of these knives actually get used. I purchased this knife about 5 years ago and immediately put it to work in the kitchen. The convex grind is super easy to keep razor sharp and overall balance is amazing. It's primary function is delicate filet work where easy slicing is needed. The blade has some nice patina and the yellow micarta has darkened evenly.
Love this knife and call it my "kitchen bitch". Telling ya, if you need a razor get a convex ground blade.

Nice, and I totally understand. I have 2 Warthers that I use for 99% of my chopping and a Model 6-9 for cutting/ slicing roasts etc. When you find your favourites, that's what you use.

Absolutely my friend. I've carried many in the field but never got to use them. Going to reverse that this year.
Please, post any users.

I used my Alaskan pocket to break down my very first whitetail.
It's also been a handy beer cheese spreader in Boston
And In and Out Burger cutter in Texas.
It's my go to travel buddy!

Thank you Grant, WP, and Steve. 8-)

I first met Grant in Lakeland and he showed me his Alaskan pocket, I was hooked. I got this guy about a month later and it's my FAVORITE BMK.
