cleaning out a few old things, came across this handmade clothes pin David Warther made for Jimmy Lile back in 1978. I can email the larger photos.

One side: to Jim Lile July 29 1978
Other side: Dave Warther Dover, Ohio

Shoot me an email if you would like to buy it. $200

Thanks for looking.

What material is it made from?
From David Warther, I would expect ivory or narwhal.
What are the dimensions?

Actually not a clothes pin, but plyers. Clothes pins have a spring, the picture shows a pair of plyers. They still make them for sale. I've been to their shop. If in the Dover, Ohio area, definitely worth going there.

Found this YouTube video that shows David making a pair of pliers. Pretty cool!

David,

Actually I went back to view the other vids. The first one the workmanship was a bit shoddy.

I agree that it wasn't anywhere near as nice as David Warther's, but the thought behind the cuts were what impressed me.
I remember decades ago in Engineering Drafting we would design the diagrams for the mechanics of cranes and structures. Some were hard to visualize much less draw.
(Now that sentence sounds like an old timer....back in the day...)
