Hello everybody! Just signed in at this place. Thanks for letting me in. I am from Germany and I am a huge fan of Chris Reeve Knives. Through CRK's fixed blades I digged further into the subject of combat knives and obviously Randall Made Knives appeared while doing a little research. I do appreciate brands with faces behind them, with a sense for quality and for careful product evolution. That goes for CRK and in terms of long history even more for Randall Made Knives. During the last months I have aquired a few Randall and I am extremely pleased with them. As I also enjoy taking pics of my knives, I will present them over here, hoping that you will enjoy them. Besides this I am sure I will learn a lot regarding Randall Made Knives from the experienced collectors and users here. Enough talking. Lets start with pics of the famous Model 1. I have two of them. A 1-7 w. stag handle and a 1-8 w. ironwood combat handle. 1-7, Stag, 01 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-7, Stag, 02 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-7, Stag, 03 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-7, Stag, 04 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-8, Ironwood, 01 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-8, Ironwood, 02 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-8, Ironwood, 03 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-8, Ironwood, 04 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-8, Ironwood, 05 by Jedi, auf Flickr 1-8, Ironwood, 06 by Jedi, auf Flickr

Welcome James, I hope the wait to get on the forum was worthwhile.
Down here in the South, we think of this Forum as "Hog Heaven", although the chickens are beginning to outnumber the hogs.

Thanks and yes, it was worth. There is an incredible amount of knowledge hosted at this place and although many people seem to favour fast paced social media these days, I believe a knife forum with its clear structure and serving as a kind of "library" is worth to be kept alive.
