I saw this knife on a German auction site. I knew the maker was a famous one, so I placed a bid. Got it a little under $670 shipped to my house. The knife is never sharpened and only has a few very light hairline scratches on one of the bolsters.
I discovered this knife while I was looking for Randall knives. The guy also had a model 1 for sale and a Jimmy Lile big 7 drop point hunter.
First I thought of buying this knife and sell it with a profit, but this little knife is in a class of it's own. I will keep it, but I will never be a big fan of small folders. The serial number is 111. I made some better pictures, but they are to big to upload on this forum. So I ad the ones from the seller. One side has a little sticker residue on it, because the man who sold the knives had prices on it, he used to own a gun and knife store. This knife is so smooth and operates super light. The fit and finish is superb. Must have been a great knife maker!

Thanks TAH! I can appreciate the craftsmanship that went in to this knife. The more I look at it and hold it in my hands, the more I like it.

This is the Jimmy Lile and the Randall model 1 SS, he also had for sale:
The Jimmy Lile sold for $645 without shipping.
The Randall model 1 SS sold for $424 also without adding shipping costs.

If I had the money, I would have bought all three of them!

These are the knives he still has up for sale, if anybody sees something he likes and want to bid, just let me know. I have an account on this auction side. One is a Gerber, two are made by Frank Centofante, one is a Dholder and the last one is a Smith & Wesson Texas Rangers 1823-1973. I never heard of Frank Centofante and Dholder.

I Googled Frank Centofante and learned that he also was a famous person in the knife world. I don't know the value of these knives of him being offered? I believe less then the Jess Horn from what I could find on the internet.
Dholder still makes knives from what I could find andd are less expensive.

In my not so knowledgeable opinion, a Centofante for $391 is a steal!!

He got prices on some of them, I also have a little residue from the sticker on one side of the Stag. I got to come up with a way to remove it without harming the Stag?

I never saw the biggest of the Frank Centofante fixed blades for sale, otherwise I had made an offer. It was sold before this seller offered the Randall model 1. Otherwise I had never learned about Jess Horn and Frank Centofante knives. Anyway, I just won the Centofante folder at the auction. For $177 shipped, I couldn't pass it up.
