Greetings all.

I purchased my elder son a modern FS British commando knife as he specifically requested same (for Christmas). The sheath that it came in was of rather poor quality, and so I am looking for a serious upgrade. I've seen vintage FS knives in RMK 10-7" sheaths, so I figure that it would be a perfect fit.

Recent or new is just fine (I'm not looking for one of the vintage ones marked "BC") and used (but not terribly abused) is also fine.

Please PM me if you have one available.

Many thanks.

Bob

Email Gary Clinton, he can probably help you rather quickly. Or call him.

Bob,

SJJP has a 10-7 black and a brown sheath on EBay. These are made by Sullivan's but are not Randall stamped. Just a thought if you run a dead end.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the assistance.

James, thanks for the suggestion. I checked with Gary yesterday, and he didn't have an available 10-7" sheath.

Bruce, I love the sheath, but it's almost too nice for this knife, and I don't have the tools on hand to set the snap properly. I just watched some YouTube videos on setting snaps and rivets in leather; it looks pretty straightforward, but the right tools are essential, especially the little concave anvil to hold the cap while the snap is being set. Thanks for the offer.

Warren, I may end up going with the one you mentioned on ebay. Looks pretty nice and maybe I can make an offer and pick it up a little cheaper than the listing price. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Thanks again all.

Bob

Bob, I bet the Capt. has what you need, however if not Hobby Lobby and Walmart carry a snap kit #24 with the anvil and punch and a bag of snaps for 10 bucks.

easy-breeze.

Thanks to all for assistance with this!

Capt. Chris was able to hook me up. Thanks Capt!

Max, I may take your advice and pick up a kit anyway just to play around with it.
