PLEASE don't call Billy Mr., his head will swell. Sorry Brother.

To Thomas, the OP, welcome. There is nothing wrong with 10-3 and Triathletes.

I prefer a 5-4. If you can handle any of the suggested knives, you will find something that feels right for you.

A nice 5- 4 would be my first choice followed by a Mod. 26. They both have good options that would please you. You might want to think about a high ride sheath. If you want something a little larger I would go with a Mod. 25.that is just that is one of my favorites.

A full size handle sticking out of a sheath will almost always get attention.
A pouch sheath usually gets less notice.
I have a 19 that gets much less notice in my pouch sheath than it does in the regular sheath, same knife just that it's mostly in leather.
Not saying carry a 19 but a 4 inch blade has a bigger outline of the blade in regular sheath than a pouch does, JMO.

Double edged knives (daggers) are most generally unacceptable.

Maybe this link will help you (and others) to avoid problems in some states.

Personally, with this size, a knife I also like for EDC is the 21.

Massachusetts...for one...

Limits on Carry. It is illegal to carry, open or concealed, switchblades, dirks, daggers, stilettos, ballistic knife, double edge knives, and knuckle knives. ... Folding knives, Swiss army knives, and kitchen knives are legal to carry as long as you do not behave in a way that makes them dangerous.
