I had been working on this project with John Doyle of Beaverton MI for a while as he had made a drop point hunter and a flipper folder for me. It was just completed and here are the particulars. 6 1/4 inch blade forged from 1075 steel, full distal taper, .200 at the ricasso, bronze hilt and coined spacers, a little filework on top of blade and a customer supplied ironwood handle. Sheath is by Claude Scott of Walla Walla WA of 7-8 oz leather with a 2-3 oz deer skin liner and a ring lizard inlay.
Tremendous job on both the knife and sheath and it goes great with his other knives

Peter

Awesome as usual Peter! Out of curiosity... is the file work an accurate measuring tool as well?

Thanks for the comments guys.
Steve, the file work on the top is not a measuring device. I measured 5/8 inch between the big indents and there are 10 small ones between the big ones.
The maker isn't currently taking orders so I was fortunate to get the last one in the set.
