Tiger or flame maple. I told you Miles: This used to be mine! Can't imagine why I sold it. There was a #2 to match it also.
Best, Capt. Chris

You're getting old, Cap't! You told me the 1-8 on my consignment knives site was the one you owned, this is a different knife!

Yes I am Miles..."BUT"...The wood is the same. Don't I get "some" points for that?

I was told that the wood on the bottom Model 5 was Curly Maple. It is somewhat similar to the handle material on Miles' knife.

One of 'em doesn't look like a Model #5.

You are sharp for an old guy!! I had a 1 and. 5 made with handles made from the same FI. The 1 (in the pic) turned out good, the 5, no so.

Max thank you for the nice comments.

Rod I think the 5 with Maple handle is a great looking knife, I have the same wood on a custom rifle but the Tiger Maple looks more like a Tiger (real) than yours. Would you be interested in selling?

Thank you Sidney, but no. I may have sold one Model 5 in the 20 yrs I have collecting. But I saw the error of my ways!! 5's are all I collect/accumulate and I keep everyone.

Rod, that Model 1 is a sleek looking knife. The spine dip really gives it style.
