Just picked up a wicked 9" Ralph Turnbull Dagger. Does anybody here on the forum have any Turnbull examples? This is my Second fixed blade Turnbull. I also have an Ivory handled example.

Damn Eric nice get. Really like all of their work. Folks if you don't know, this is very rare indeed. Turnbull work speaks for itself.

Just to add to my previous post, most folks know Turnbull for his guns. Don't overestimate the knives. Just saying....

Thanks Warren, I really like his knives, the dagger is huge but perfectly balanced. I didn't know he was associated with Turnbull restoration.

Eric,
I assumed it was the same guy, not the case and my error.

I don't think the Turnbull from NY is the same person that builds the knives IMO. Just share a last name.

I found out that Ralph Turnbull was good friends with Tom Clinton and use to live in Rockford, IL. before moving to FL. The dagger it turns out was commissioned by Tom Clinton. Thank you Gary for helping with the history on this knife.
