Guido, my #14 Solingen could be a big brother to yours except for the lack of a thong hole. I too wish it were Ivory, but the white Micarta is the closest to the real thing without the cost.

Guido, I guess I'm lucky, mine has cracked "yet" Mine does show some stress cracks on the butt end, but nothing on the handle.

That one looks like a chute knife, Eric; I've not seen a Randall quite like that, Solingen or otherwise.

I'm not normally a huge fan of the SFG handle, but it looks perfect on yours.

Thanks, Mark RMK did a great grind job on these leftover German blades. I have a few of these Solingen Fighters. The 5.5 version differently resembles the blade found on Chute Knives. I had not noticed that before.
