A LOT of THANK YOU'S go into this knife here. GTR first and foremost! Scott, Captain Chris, Pappy, Greg and Danny Gutcher all contributed to this project. The Easter Bunny. I would say model #8 old style is my favorite Randall. I wanted something a little unique and here it is! It's a #8x set up as a fighter with the double brass hilt, leather handle and brass rounded butt cap. I ordered it with a waxed sheath. But because EVERYTHING is better in beaver... I requested the fella's at Sullivan's set me up with a lefty beaver sheath. They did a FANTASTIC job on it.

I can not say enough about the whole package and how happy I am with it, but I am very appreciative to all that had a hand in it, it means a lot to me. I at least feel like it's a package that does not suck!!

James,

Thinking you're off to a good start with a collection of similar blades/hilt/handle types. Perhaps a 12-6 LB and a Stanaback Special set up as fighters would round out the family. Whadda think?

Yes Warren, I am thinking the LBB will be next in line.

Really nice complete package. I also have, from the very first, been partial to the Old Style #8 and am certain that it has been the most carried.....daily, hunting, camping, fishing....has been by far used dressing out more bucks,Wild Turkeys, and fish than any of my other Randalls. It just feels right in my hand. AND, along Warren's line of thinking, 'ya just gotta' add the #12-8 sometime. Mine (in stag) also just look great together....under glass.
Good job.
