I was going through & wiping down some of the knives and looked up my J. Russell & Co Green River Works and the number on the blade. I didn't find much on it but see one on eBay that sold and says "reenactment" and isn't stamped with the name or number.

By reenactment I wonder if it means re-issue?

This is from my turn of the century Russell butcher knife, also marked"Professional". Might help but not exactly the same as yours.

Might make a good steak knife. I hadn't seen those stamps but hadn't really looked around for different ones.
