Here is a Gardener's Knife IXL Pattern 3 7/8" long. Blade and spring is ATS-34, 410 SS bolsters and liners, 410 pinned on shield, fluted bolsters, blade hand rubbed finish. The stag is gorgeous. This pattern was made for light pruning duties in the flower garden. Images by KnifeHead

These old Henckels lack the elegance of a T. Bose knife, but I'll post them in here anyway just for the sake of seeing more knives in this pattern.

Not sure how I managed to post above the post before me, but sorry about that.

One more.

Kerry, my favorite pattern!

Any well-to-do English gardener from the nineteenth century might be found in the Springtime puttering about his garden doing some light pruning while puffing on his handcarved meerschaum pipe with his trusty dog ambling along for the company.

My Case collaboration and ivory EDC since Tony dropped it in my hand a year or so back. Rides alone in my right front pocket and is a user as well when I'm puttering in the garden. Tony, you are the best!

Thanks,

Allan

DAng Allan...the ivory EDC is awesome. Haven't seen an ivory one before. Tony nailed that one (does he ever not nail one). Great pic, too.

Thanks JT! I feel honored to have it. I think if the Boses ever miss the bulls eye on one, they feed it to the hogs. I've never seen one I didn't lust after.

Tony, I have a few of them that could tell some long-winded stories.

Don, They really did a good job a long time ago working that bark stag right to the edge. The early ones were right up there with New York Knife Co. Napanoch, etc. in terms of workmanship.

Oh thank you Kerry! I needed a Gardener's fix. I never tire of looking at examples of this pattern. Great pictures and another perfectamundo Bose knife!

Oh good grief John, thanks so much! Do you reckon the curves have something to do with what they do to me? I don't think I know of a bad handle material for the Gardener's knife and that jigged bone is sweet.
