Wow what a difference between the two.
Used my EDC (requested) with my GrandMother’s old cutting board

Sony Vaio 2Ghz, Windows XP, HP4C, Corel PhotoPaint

Apple Xeon Mac Pro 3 Ghz, Mac OS X, HP3055, Corel PhotoPaint

Both pictures were done with in 10 Minutes of each other and look at the color difference
No tone or color adjustments

Which would you say is more accurate color-wise? The detail is great on both, maybe a little sharper on the second one.

I would say the 2nd one has a true'r color, especially of the board. (it is brown, not red) The Bolster shows up better too. The old scanner is 10 years old so you would expect that to improve. Over all I like the old one, its bed is 14" where as the new one in about 10"

Scans are great, it’s a great looking knife and it scans well after being carried. I definately like the new scanner…will you be posting more pictures soon…Blade show pictures?
