I've been carrying this outfit for awhile now Sig 238 in 380acp.and it is the most accurate 380 pistol I've ever owned. Recently purchased a new Glock 43 sub-compact in 9mm, but haven't had time to shoot it yet.

I have carried a SIG P228 9mm for more than 20 years. However, a few years ago, I went up to the .45 ACP version, the P220 Carry. I love both guns. I shoot the P228 more accurately, but that is to be expected with a 9mm versus a .45 cal.

Then, last year, I acquired a Glock 17C. I have always disliked Glocks. Always. But I lightened the trigger on this one and put Trijicon night sights on it (with an orange front sight) and "Whoa, Nelly!" This is the most accurate gun I own. I still don't love the Glock -- it's like owning an ugly dog. It's loyal and dependable, but still awkward and uncomfortable. But you can't argue with single hole accuracy right on the X.

On Saturday, I took a new SIG P320 Compact to the range to compare it to the Glock and some other 9mms. The P320 is a fantastic gun. SIG is giving Glock a run for its money with this model. I highly recommend that anybody considering a high capacity 9mm give it a look.

Wally that's the first P38 collection I have ever seen. I used a GG Greene opener for years, it's still around here someplace. You sure do have a lot of Army stuff. I bet your front porch is painted OD Green. oldguy

I have had one on my key chain since 1969, still works great. It has opened many cans over the years.

The Seamaster is a 2254.50, I changed the bracelet to the "Bond" style, and changed the face to a "non America's cup" face. The 2254 face and non America's face, is the same, except the tritium hour markers are applied, with metal trim, the 2254 markers are "painted" directly to the face. I like you micro tech Tune, I have a MOD Harkins triton I traded with Jimmy for. A good OTF is sweet!

I am a big fan of OTF knives. I traded into a Microtech Halo this year. It's not dual action, you have to cock it, but DAMN..... hit the button and it punches!

Jeff Harkins is making his again, after a couple of years inactivity. I'm wanting one bad, but the old lady would kill me with it!

Hey guys,

Here is my simple "most" day carry... Ruger LCP and Spyderco Worker. Added the grip and clip to the LCP. Sanded down the scales on the Spyderco to a more smooth finish -- the original scales were course and scuffed up my pants under the clip. I enjoy them both.

Have a good week,

Jay

Without the Surefire X300 attached is IWB with the Peters Custom Holsters Hold Fast. With the Surefire X300 attached is OWB in a Raven Concealment Systems Phantom holster. I tried IWB with the light attached, but it was too uncomfortable. The belt is by The Beltman, the pocket light is a Fenix E11, the extra mag holder is a Safariland #074, and the knife is an Emerson CQC7. The stippling job on the G19 is by me.

My EDC for the past several years has been a Glock G-26. I use G-19 mags in it:

The holster is from Bravo Concealment:

I have some 10 round mags for the rare trips back to California:

Nice setup. I have a 43,19 and 20. Have you tricked any parts?
I get mine from The Glock Store.

Most days, this (sez he, as he dumps pockets on porch table).
The small stuff all in the wallet.

Since the Garberg came out last year, I have taken a shine to it for days where knife will stay soaked with sweat all day long, I think of it as an unbreakable rustproof Swedish dive knife, but much prefer the 1200 layers of Bohler K510 forged Finn razor for serious work of any variety, very tough, very sharp, and you can carve dry black hardwood knots for a week and never need touch the edge.

PS-I have not been any manner of professional for a long time, now, but never say or said EDC, or scandi or remmie or much else of internet trend-speak. It would not even be "my gear" today, but simply "my stuff", and may as well be "my clothes" as for how naked I would feel were I to leave the house without it.

PPS-late edit, but the silver and penny are barter goods, never went anywhere without something worth money to either the uneducated or educated. Everyone recognizes the silver coin must be worth something in a pinch. The educated would realize the 1856 penny worth a lot. And it would be the last thing stolen and likely dumped on ground when everything else was taken.
