I love the bone handles. Have you thought of using elk antler as a handle?

Thanks everybody.
Pappy, I have only made one knife with deer antler so far. I do plan on trying some to make some in the future.
Robert, You are correct on the smaller handled knife for the lady. This was not intentional and I hope the buyers are happy with the results.

APFK# 1 Mini Replica
After a few weeks away, I was able to start fooling around with my hobby. This is what I made this weekend. It's my version of the #1 that is so famous to us all. This blade was made from a file that I had laying around. The handle is whitetail deer antler with brass and black spacers. The brass double hilt is soldered to the blade just like the real thing. The 3.5" blade has been quenched and tempered. Overall length is 7". I also made a mini Model C sheath for it. This turned out to be a great project and is one of my favorite knives that I have built to date. I still need to sharpen the blade and find some black cord for the sheath. I hope you guy's like it and there will be more to follow.

Looks good, you may need a smaller stamp if you keep making mini's. wink
