I like it. Is the handle from pine cone?

Yes, cast resin and pine cone.
Previously, James Behring made a set of 1-7's with red, white, and blue cast resin and pine cone handles.
I saw the orange handle material on Capt. Chris's table at Blade and the Capt. put in an order for an 11-5 to go with it.
Jim Sinclair agreed to make the handle.
Fun project.

I ordered an 11-5 with leather handle after finding the orange pine cone material from Capt. Chris.
The shop does not accept pine anymore.
I met up with Jim Sinclair at Blade 2022 and he re-handled the knife with single finger grip shaping, nickel silver hilt and butt cap and his spacers.
I had the black sheaths - regular and high ride from the shop and Sullivan's.
The black sheaths really set off the orange pine cone.
