My small Sasquatch

One of the most complex blade styles among RMK, I think. Love that recurve shape. Handle is cocobolo. At least this is what the seller confirmed. Sometimes cocobolo and ironwood look pretty similar. Hard to tell. But as the wood appears to be quite open-pored, I am leaning towards cocobolo as well.

Cocobolo is great wood, I find it doesn't get as dark over time as ironwood does.
Great set up.
I'm waiting for a large sasquatch in fossil hoping that It comes out like I want.

Every time I see both, large & small, together on one pic, the small looks like a boy scout knife :-)))) I definitely need a large too.

Hey James:

The big Sasaquatch IS a BIG knife!

I use mine to fillet big catfish ( > 10lbs.). The “heft” and the curved shape allow me to hack through thick rib bones that are sometimes as thick as my finger.

It takes the place of the hatchet that we used to use.

And forget using an electric knife on those big cats.
