1-6 New One!

Just got this one. This is the best handling one I've ever had. The handle is shaped in such a way it fits my hand absolutely perfectly. Like if I grabbed a ball of clay, squeezed it and then the shop made a mold of it. It's incredible.

I can't find the paperwork I have on it, so I'm not sure of the options, but I think I maxed out, right? Stainless, stag, nickel silver hilt, nickel silver butt, wrist thong. Right?

Sweet #1. If you have a NS hilt you gotta have a NS buttcap.

I wish I could explain how it feels. It is not completely round. It sort of sticks out a little on the side. It almost looks crooked when you look at it from the butt straight down toward the tip. When I saw it, I thought well, this doesn't really look that good. But when you hold it, it's literally the best fitting knife I've ever held and it's no exaggeration to say I've held a thousand over my lifetime.

I found the paperwork and I actually made a mistake--it's a duralumin butt cap, not nickel silver.

The #1-6 is a great knife. It seems that most out there are 7" versions, but the 6" just looks right.

Originally red, white & blue but, of course the wide old blue spacers darkened to black, in time.
