Willem O'Kelly K'roo Chunky Frank - 04/05/20 08:47 PM

Williem O'Kelly K'roo Chunky Frank slip joint with green burlap scales and stainless steel liners and pins. Locks closed and open extremely tight. Extremely high quality, but my collection of knives is a bit scattered and needs more direction. I find myself using only fixed blades and ignoring most of my folders, so this one is on the chopping block. I'm already losing money at this price of $210 shipped, so price is firm. PayPal friends and family or goods and services add 3% to cover fees. Does not have a sheath, but will ship in the pictured hard case for shipping protection. Any questions just ask. Thanks.

So that you can appreciate Willem’s knifes more fully, consider this.

Willem has to make his own handle material out of whatever he can find.

This one is made out of burlap. (old tow sack). He also uses denim (old blue jeans) and other handily available materials to make his “micarta”

I “smuggled” the c-trek to him that he used on my knife as a “gift” to keep him from paying a small fortune in duties.

The conditions under which he works is truly difficult and makes his work even more remarkable.

Received it today. Hefty doesn't begin to describe this folder. It's a little bit of a challenge just to open and close because the spring is so strong.

Here's the Ted Angle sheath for my O'Kelly folder. It's a horizontal version so fits sideways on your belt, cross draw style. Ted does great work. He's a saddle and leather artist.
