Camillus Granddaddy Barlow AG Russell Club Knife - 12/23/16 11:57 AM
Found this folder recently in an antique shop. I had no idea what I was looking at until I brought it home and did some research. This was the second in a series of club knives commissioned by AG Russell and made by Camillus. This is one huge folder with a 4" blade and is 9" opened. It's got jigged Delrin scales, really cool shield of the knife itself, and incredible snap. I believe these were made in the 70's. It's in great shape for it's age but is missing the leather sheath.
Nice find.

Thanks guys. I think it was the shield that caught my eye. This knife is built like a tank.

Very nice find Warren! I know these are very different BUT the similarities reminded me of this Remington. Similar.....&, of course, very different.

Duke,
It very well might have been the inspiration behind the design. Never had a Remington bullet but I know they are highly sought after knives. Nice one of your own there, thanks for the reply.
