Our Authorized Alabama dealer, Wayne Jordan has....retired! Effective Jan/2023...

Those who have dealt with Wayne over the years know what a gentlemen and pleasure it has been to know him and deal with him!

Wayne is the longest tenured "Original" RMK dealer, having been with us since 1968!! Wayne promises to keep in touch and to just generally continue to harass me personally!

We now have the pleasure to introduce;

You may have had dealings with Danny on Facebook...
Corbet Cutlery will be honoring all Wayne Jordan orders that may have extended past January

Re: Wayne Jordan news... - 09/01/22 09:10 AM

Wayne called a few days ago and told me the news..."BUT"...I was waiting for RMK's announcement before I said and/or posted anything. That old man has been (& continues to be) a good friend and it saddens me to see & hear this news.
I 1st met Wayne at the AGCA gun & knife show in Birmingham around 1986. Great guy and always a pleasure to deal with or just BS with. I'll see him in October at the AGCA show (now in Hoover, Al.) and I'm looking forward to it!
Stay Sharp Wayne,
Capt. Chris

Re: Wayne Jordan news... - 09/01/22 08:41 PM

I want to take a moment to thank you all for the well wishes. Wayne Jordan has been my best friend and mentor for over 30 years. Not just knives, but life in general. He and I have been on many adventures together, 100's of gun shows, countless yard sales and flea markets. In everything we have done, he was always being the mentor and father figure.... and for that I am thankful for every minute we have spent together!! I am honored that he has asked me to carry on his legacy as a Randall Dealer. It is my promise to all of you that I will continue the same service he has provided to the Randall Knife community for the past 53 years.

I want to extend a special thank you to Duke, Mitchell, Chris, Gary, and the entire Randall Shop for the encouragement and support.

Many Thanks!
Danny

Ya know this post has me thinking about some of the other posts we discuss.
If more of us did like Wayne and stood in the Gap to mentor the young men of our country, things would be different!
Glad to see the torch passed.

It takes two or more! Those that want to Learn... and those that want to Coach! (That have the right skills/experience to do so)!!!

Like Chris, Wayne called me a week ago to break the news to about hanging it up.

We did some dealing at the Blade Shows and he sold me a nice "Model 14 on Steroids" at Blade Show 2022, Nice to have "one of one" from the Randall Shop.

Here is Ronnie Beck (left) of Benson NC, with Jim Sinclair at center and Wayne at right, at Blade Show 2022.

Michael,

I will be losing sleep tonight, knowing that I was too lazy to do it right, instead to be shown here with Blade Show lighting.

Consider this a "One of One" Model 14-CDT with resin ivory, and from 3/8" stock. It started out as a Model 12 Bowie, but a flaw in the grinding indicated a flaw that required a "new look" model.

Ironically, I bought it and another Model 12 Bowie from Wayne at my table at Blade Show 2022.
