Summary: this is a vintage, very nice looking Randall model 1 outfitted as follows: 7" tool steel blade w/ fine sawteeth, double brass hilt, and wood handle with unlined (chamfered) lanyard hole. The blade has been buffed / cleaned up a bit, nothing horrible but certainly worth mentioning. There's some tarnish on the brass guard that I didn't mess with, a spot on the end of the handle which was probably caused by a sticker of some sort being affixed there for a period of time. No checks or cracks in the handle (walnut?), the unlined thong hole is chamfered and original / shop done.
The original Johnson roughback sheath is in excellent or better condition, correctly stamped 1 7 below the Randall trademark on the back belt loop. You'll find a few handling marks here and there, and a bit of darkness at the throat from past storage. An unused yellow print crystolon sharpening stone is in the front pouch.
8 photos for review -- as shown, a new embroidered Randall Made Knives carry case is included. This is a good buy on an older 7 spacer Randall fighter with sawteeth and wood handle -- a perfect addition to any knife collection and a great one to tuck away for investment purposes.
