It looks like the forums will be coming to an end shortly.
The server cost and needed maintenance has become an insurmountable obstacle.
I have been putting in over $1500 a year out of my pocket each year and not looking to continue that this year.
You are encouraged to save any post and pictures that are important to you.

Very sad to hear, Rick, but understandable. Thank you for hosting and supporting the forum for all of these years. It is sincerely appreciated! I learned a ton about Randall knives from a great group of people.

now that I think about it....this site never should have been free to begin with!!
I have no issue with paying for a service that I use....I'm sure most others don't as well
There has to be some way to to continue this site....it's far to valuable to loose...

I have been in Alabama, hunting for the past week..."BUT"...(There goes that word again) Rick and I have been trying to iron all of this out to a good end result for our forum..."OURS" meaning all of our's as you have indicated your wish for the forum to go on.
Details are still forth-coming...but you'll know more when "more" is to be known.

Well, if there’s a way for this Forum to continue, with support from members who would really hate to see it just vanish, then please let us know what we need to know, when we need to know it, to positively participate in keeping it alive.
Much more preferable than finding out too late to help solve the problems, that it’s over/gone.
