Seller describes this as what he thinks is a "vintage Randall made knife with a rare handle". The sheath appears genuine; however, the knife itself looks way off?

Bob - you were too kind in your statement about the knife being 'way off'! wink
Talk about a 'hatchet' job; its embarassing to say the least that the knife is a Randall. Perhaps someone will send him a message and tell him the error of his ways.

I noticed this odd combination also. As of this moment, there's one bid and it's for $74.99. Sheath is a Johnson for a #1-7" knife. Theoretically, if the sheath is in good shape, it would be a fair price for it, no?

The gray carborundum stone has rounded corners. On close inspection, it seems someone made them that way. Was that style stone ever original equipment?
