Y bought an Ivory Hippo tooth in the states by mail, the straight ones of the lower jaw, their ivory is stronger than the elephant one but is very nice to work with. I made the new handle for my 28 and I think it looks fantastic. the good thing is there is spare material to another handle, will work in a matching pair jeje. I hope you like it....
I really like the looks of it. You did a very good job. Congratulations.

Do you have a picture of the hippo tooth before you started working on it?

Very creative transformation of a full exposed tang to a hidden tang. Really like the results and the workmanship is top shelf. I tried to resize to make it easier to view.
