I'm wide open for suggestions, and I kinda think the warranty may have expired a while back...

Has to be a good story involved here. The handle, maybe drill a hole and mount a bottle opener in it. The blade, maybe a cut down letter opener, or a blade for a one off folding knife. Maybe Grant will chime in and say they can work some Montana "magic" on it.

I thought RMK’s carried a lifetime warranty against catastrophic failure. I know they cannot fix it, but they may replace with a newer one. I think Tunefink had a model #1 that was broken like yours rehandled by BMK. If I may ask, how did it break? Good luck!

This knifes' fate has been determined, for those curious it took very little to break it, but in fairness it is about 40 years old, and of 1/8" stock, no longer used.

That shouldn't matter.

The top of the broken blade part shows a flaw in the steel, pretty amazing it lasted 40 years!

Wally, with all do respect. Stainless steel should not break, unless using it as a pry bar or screwdriver. Lost a few tips that way.

Several years ago I had a Model #1 that showed a crack in blade. Called Randall and was told to return it. They returned a new knife in about 30 days.
