Anybody on here ever heard of Richard Self of Nacogdoches, Texas?

I ran across him at the Tulsa Show and really admired this knife. It was a little pricey I thought ($1200) but a really nice knife. The blade material was Elmax or CPM S90V or some other Premium steel.

I'm always on the lookout for knives that would make cleaning crappie & bream easier.

Let me know if you have ever done business with him.

Warther makes about the best filet knife out there, IMHO.

I don’t fillet crappie or bream.

Nor do I fillet a channel cat that is less than 12” long.

It guts and cuts off heads pretty good too. A big spoon always worked for me scaling. I leave the dorsal fin to pull out those bones.
