I have a 1986 4 dot Jack Daniels Whitler knife set with a Barrel top display that i picked up at an auction. The bolsters all have 0352 engraved on them. Not til i got them home to clean them up did i realize that it was 2 single blade knives and 1 3 blade knife instead of a single blade, 2 blade, and 3 blade. Since all the bolster numbers match does this increase the value of the set or lower the value of the set being that is a "defect" or "abnormal" set?

IMO it won't change the value much if any but I could br wrong. This isn't - to my knowledge - one of the sought after collections released by Case so its value, ultimately, is what someone is willing to pay for it.
A factory screw up to be sure or . . they shipped it with the two blade model not available at the time of packaging.
Just my $0.02!

That is an interesting screw up but I agree it won't really change the value much at all. I sold the last set I had for $150.00 and was happy to get it.
